2. And, ummmm, ET, seems like you got hold of some of those b*ochy pills that Dave said I took yesterday.
Third, did it ever occur to you that shopkeepers see you and your big hair, halter top, panty-length shorts, and clear plastic pumps coming, and rush to turn off their lights and lock their doors??? Think Julia Roberts on Rodeo Drive in Pretty Woman.
I was a reporter at the Brooklyn Heights Press from about 1983 to 1986. One of my beats was Montague St. real estate. Guess what I was writing about? What it would be like to have upscale, late-night cafe on the Montague, which attracted a sizeable late-night foot traffic. Despite fits and starts, it still hasn’t happened. I don’t think the community is interested in a late-night spot in the neighborhood, and while Montague is a lovely street, but when you come down to it, it doesn’t have anything novel besides a nice view to generate a steady stream of outsiders (compared with other parts of Brooklyn and NYC).
Maybe someone will come along to prove me wrong. I just don’t think anyone should hold their breath.
are you saying ET wears your used outfits?
“Go Fuck Yourself!

Wait, you forgot to add the smiley emoticon! You can stick around, Crumbs will still be open for a few more hours.
“I’m not your fucking trampoline.”

ET is dropping the F-bombs fierce today. She cracks me up!
it would be great if montague became a ‘cool’ retail strip – but if it hasn’t happened yet, it won’t
it’s already the most expensive/desirable nabe in brooklyn without it.
think park slope would be as expensive if there was no retail? hells no.
