  1. “I usually have
    objective proof”

You’re “objective proof” is usually from very obviously biased sources with an agenda, legion. Let’s be fair here. The last time we talked about this mosque you pointed to some whack-nut christian zealot on the west coast.

  2. ” I know what I’m talking about and I usually have
objective proof to back up my positions.”

Ok, I’l go with it. So tell me, what does Sharia law say about abiding by the laws of the land.

  3. i hate seeing food go to waste. SO many people brought desserts. only like 30 people in the office but we wound up with 8 cakes, 2 pies, 30 cupcakes, tiramisu, and a few box of cookies :-/

my dish was definitely not a hit hahahaha. but it’s mostly gone now. too many people brought desserts tho.

    *rob*

legion, Do you even know what Sharia law is?

    cobble,
let’s at least start the conversation with the understanding that I have proven time and again,
that I know what I’m talking about and I usually have
objective proof to back up my positions.

  5. donatella,

I wasn’t implying that the honor killings that occurred in Texas were in any way sanctioned by this country.

I was pointing to the incident, which has now been classified by the FBI as a case of “honor killing”,
as an indication of what lies ahead if we are not prepared for the cultural balkanization that occurs when we take a step too far away from questioning the “customs” being imported into the USA.

It is one thing to welcome any and all,
it is another to throw away any expectation of cultural assimilation.

In short, there are customs from around the world which do not comport or even comply with existing US law or the spirit of our constituiton.
How far are we willing to go to call them out when we see them?

France is already dealing with these issues head on.
