lol what is that? i’d take a 1.5 percent increase in salary in a heartbeat!! and there is no way that the cost of living has only been going up 1.5 percent in the last few years. try like 10-25 percent EVERY year.

  3. tell me, friends: Infinitejester post regarding peer review got me thinking about something that’s been bothering me for a while, and that’s HR depts in general, and my company’s in particular.

The HR dept is a total scam on par w/ bottled water; there’s no reason for it! I feel that all this BS with reviews, etc does virtually nothing but give the made-up HR depts something to do, especially if all employees are getting a cost-of-living 1.5% increase in salary no matter how poorly or how well they performed.

Surprised there was not more comment on the gay-‘adult’-star-turned-broker on the State Street thread yesterday. Or is this career progression normal & I just didn’t know?

there was a HUUUUUGE thread about him on curbed a few years ago. (if it’s the same person?!)

brokers and gay porn stars both are dumb as a sack of rocks, so it makes sense they would transition from one field to the other with ease.

I thought it was a job requirement for brokers to have had sex with a certain amount of people on camera for money.
