  1. “It’s hard not to grate your knuckle when grating cheese.”

Hard cheeses like Parmesan, I use the food processor.

For peppers and spices, I have been buying from this place for years. They have an atrocious website, but get their catalog. Fresh and cheap, and they have loads of Mexican chiles.

  2. Park Sloper gets what I’m saying. Rob and DIBS are a little thick, I think. Let me explain better. Try to follow along, now. I consider myself middle class. I don’t claim to “know” the market as well as it appears many of you think you do. All I know is that most of you (including myself) want to own in brownstone Brooklyn, but judging by the average reader appraisal, most of you think everything is too expensive. My message is: get real, folks. It ain’t as cheap as you believe it should be.

  3. quote:
Cause it seems to me — and this is a casual observation here — that most everyone here is living in a fantasy world where a brownstone in one of the most desirable urban environments in the US should be easily affordable for the average middle class citizen.

:-/ yes that pesky middle class trying to get between you and your urban high faluntin’ lifestyle. get over yourself.

a neighborhood with no middle class SUCKS!
