M4L, Deny’s Delice had a little group of people in his shop this morning. I complained to David the owner. “Humpf, you really have to wait a long time in here…..he smiled..” He’s doing ok.
Nah, $12 coffee is a bit excessive, even for me. I can make a perfectly fine cup of hot Stumptown or Blue Bottle at home for free.
Iced Coffee is hard though – hot coffee put in the fridge tastes like butt, and it’s really hard to cold brew it – so I don’t mind paying the premium for the good stuff.
Yes I quite like the smell of gasoline. But I’m biased.

Will this day never end???
I like almost all the smells you guys mentioned. Is it just me, or does anyone else like the smell of freshly pumped gasoline? OK, weird, I know.

Thanks, M4L. So there’s no advantage w/r/t NYC taxes for my coworker here in NYC that lives in NJ in getting a job in NJ.
DH, you tried that $12 coffee place yet?
I love walking into coffeeshops that roast their own beans on the premises.
