No, no, m4l she *already* lives in NJ. I just wanted to know if leaving nyc job for jersey job would save her any money. Seems the answer is no since she was never paying nyc tax.
my recommendation if any of you are
staying in the city,
check out the LIC waterfront.
I was there last week for dinner
with some friends and had a great time.
went to the Waterfront Crabhouse which
has been there forever on Borden Ave.
Great atmosphere with pictures of
celebrities everywhere, a huge bar
and things hanging on the walls.
Prices were really reasonable for
seafood.
stick to the seafood, steaks are
only so so.
they have live music on the weekends.
don’t expect Arcade Fire though!
afterwards check out the piers in
front of the huge City Lights condo
developments.
they incorporated the old freight train
equipment into the design.
really great.
and the views across the east river
of the Chrysler, Empire State, the 59th
street bridge, etc
cannot be beat.
donatella – incase you didn’t believe me about the dangers of your tenant dragging their bike in and out of your place, take a look at the forum! someone just posted something.
JB, I’m assuming your coworker makes big coin like you, her NYC tax is ~3.9%. to me, not having to 3.9% NYC income tax is huge. I would assume her moving to NJ would yield add’l savings (ie cheaper rent, cheaper purchase price,…). so on dollars & cents, she’ll save $$$ but it comes with a quality of life change and that’s the trade-off vs. the $$$ saved
oh yeah – Etson. i forgot to respond to your comment the end of yesterday!
I love Phoenix – i just hate seeing shows at MSG!!
JB, also tell her to not get married if she wants to save on taxes
JB, she should move to Conneticut if she wants to save on taxes

“Yes I quite like the smell of gasoline. But I’m biased.”
Why, etson, do you work at a gas station?
