One observation – all of these new parks have very similar design. Same stainless steel seats, same wooden accents, even the same light colored plants. Is this because the designers are the same or something intrinsic to what will last in NYC’s physical environment. If it’s the former I would like to see more variety.
BBP, High Line, the Hudson River park in the W 60’s near where I used to live, and now apparently LIC all look very similar in design / vegetation to me. Great that they were all built, though
a new coned guy must have mis-read my meter. The bill for the upstairs, which is where the two AC compressors are, was $70! I was hoping it would be under $400, but not that far under!
