I can’t imagine the bagels AT mile end and those sold BY mile end at the flea down the street would be much different. Did you load it up with smoked meat?
For the record, nothing wrong with a nice little toasting to bring a bagel back to life, but we’re talking fresh bagels here.
I totally agree with that. Montreal bagels are meh and Toronto bagels (and pizza) taste like stale bread. NY bagels (and pizza) are a thousand times better.
Thanks Biff.
Went to Quebec City a few years ago & loved it.
Suprised that more Americans don’t seem to go as it’s such a short flight.
I was there early in the day, so maybe they were a tad fresher than the ones at the Flea.
I’m with Gem…my favorite is everything (not toasted) with scallion cream cheese.
Dibs, do you boil hot dogs?
“Oh I never had the Lays Jarred dip – I just make my own now (using Liptons onion soup mix)”
Yep, Liptons onion soup mix and sour cream is probably better than the store bought stuff.
Dona, Old Montreal is beautiful but I find the highly rated restaurants there don’t compare to the good ones in NY.
“canadian bagels suck”
5 letters too many.
take out the letters “a” “b” “e” “g” “l” and bring the “s” to follow the “n”
Actually only 2 hours, ET, since the site was down for an hour.
Please, try to keep up.
