DH – I think we are! – Massapequa ain’t too far form Port Washington! LIRR represent! – plus i went to Hofstra so that gives me extra LI points!
DIBS – oh COME ON – everyone loves low brow stuff once in a while – I miss serving sour cream dip at a party – now it’s on to cheese and grapes and all that other stuff you can buy at Fairway!
11217 – yes Everything is my favorite – but i went through a sesame phase a few months ago – weird!
I haven’t watched the Today show for a long time. Probably since Katie Couric left. I can’t STAND the sugary sweetness of Anne Curry and Merideth Viera is not interesting. Matt Lauer aggressive and not so nice. He and Katie Couric were scratching one another’s eyes out on the set. So I haven’t really watched Al Roker for a while. Why is he a perv? I think he is the nicest one out of that creepy crew. I now watch Morning Joe and they have a kind of non-descript weatherman, don’t even know his name.
The guy on Fox5 was good & seemed like a good dude.
Always find it weird that weatherpeople spend half their time telling you what the weather is doing there & then. I know that, I want to know what it’s going to be like tomorrow.
Also don’t care much about why or how the weather is changing, just whether it’s going to rain or not and what the temp will be.
I think the best bagels in the nabe are in the place by Methodist. Terrace ok but nothing special, true.
Peanut butter, just check the label. Should be only peanuts, or peanuts and salt. Smuckers Natural was that. Also, Costco has an organic pb with the same minimal ingredients.
“Went to Quebec City a few years ago & loved it.
Suprised that more Americans don’t seem to go as it’s such a short flight.”
That’s because people in Quebec City are far more hesitant to speak English than in Montreal and many Americans don’t like going places where they won’t be catered to by having people speak English to them.
And that’s why it amazes me that the same Americans who expect everyone outside of North America to speak English to them are usually the first ones who complain about immigrants who don’t speak English!
who was the “keep fuckin that chicken” guy? i like him.
