slopefarm, thanks for that. Makes sense. I’m hesitant to specify that Mrs C will be working there as they’ll likely say that’s not a problem as long as it’s disclosed. I’m leaning more toward just saying she’s re-entering the workforce and leave it at that, but I’ll mull it over on the weekend.
Thanks DeLepp, Mrs C is definitely the brains (and the looks) behind the operation. But she did get a very lucky break thanks to a good friend.
Yeah, Lechacal. I hope you have downloaded everything and erased all that funny stuff off your computer. Or you could just crush the whole thing with your fist on the way out.
“So if you actually took the new job (if it was offered) you’d be at the same firm as Mrs. C???? That entails more risk, no?”
For sure. Not good for both spouses to work at the same Company. And we both agreed it was most important for her to take the job and get back on her career path, which is another reason for me to decline.
JB, am talking about Gov’s CURRENT Housing bailout efforts – treasury buying / holding the securitized mortgage, FHA loans, 8k housing incentive, Fannie Freddie STILL buying mortgages,…. that’s a ton of money on bailing out housing. I rather see gov throw all of that into job creation and see what works. too many home owners are unemployed and best & only solution is getting them employed. besides, banks are in NO rush to foreclose give the magnitude of houses at risk.
Biff, how was Mrs. C able to land a job after an 8 year hiatus?

So what are you going to do with the Champettes during the day??? Chain them to the radiators??
Yeah, Lechacal. I hope you have downloaded everything and erased all that funny stuff off your computer. Or you could just crush the whole thing with your fist on the way out.
Biff – This is an easy one. Take the top salary they would ever pay and negotiate for 30% more.
DIBS, plus by 2012, they risk Google’s facebook competitor might eat into their lunch
