haha dona. No, I can’t take any confidential materials with me, and I take that pretty seriously. If I show up at the next place with a bunch of stuff I shouldn’t have taken then they won’t trust me. And in any event 95% of what I bring to the table is in my brain. If it’s on paper it’s something that dealt with yesterday’s deal. I am being hired to do tomorrow’s deal.
And DIBS, the idea of taking a “client list” with me is actually pretty silly at this firm. The place I am leaving basically services the largest wall street institutions. The client list is meaningless.
“Biff, how was Mrs. C able to land a job after an 8 year hiatus?”
It was VERY lucky, Jessi. She had reached out to many firms trying to get something and had no responses at all. I knew she just needed to score an interview as her qualifications are excellent and she presents herself very well. She got into a seminar sponsored by FFF for people looking to return to the workforce. They have a great program for that. That was the big break from our friend. There were hundreds of people there vying for a small number of positions and I guess she wowed them. I’m very proud of her for that.
Biff, I can drop off, pick up, make them do the homework, play around, feed them, put them to bed,….. for only $25/hr. I’ll throw in the toi san language refreshers for free
M4L, unless you have a sex change, you can’t be considered. Gender discrimination is alive and well at Chez Champion. But maybe DIBS needs a manny.

All my exes are in texas.
11217 is PWNING BHO in the thread about the former brothel selling out as new condos.
It’s not all that difficult though.
Biff, it’s a lot easier to turn them down now than at the point where they offer you the job.
“So what are you going to do with the Champettes during the day??? Chain them to the radiators??”
Look for a young au pair from Asia.

No state income tax in Texas either.
I would move there happily if my employer asked me (unlikely!).
The problem is that you would have to LIVE IN TEXAS.
