ugh. what is the logic of that then. the thing is i AM desperate for an emergency credit card! why is everything in this country so backwards!?
Pop could be 16 mil. If there’s not enough credit in the system to sustain salaries/jobs/mortgages/investment/etc, RE prices will fall. Credit is contracting.
Thanks DIBS. Sounds good although that may be tough selling that one as it’s only been a week since I went in and spoke with them.
Jessi, the not a good fit thing is also a good idea, except they know that I knew exactly what the job was going in and it’s very similar to what I’ve done in the past.
Was considering either going through the motions on the off chance they all like me and maybe consider me for something else if I say I changed my mind or be honest and say my wife just got an offer (won’t mention it’s there as I don’t want it to impact her) and we decided it’s for the best that I stay where I am.
Biff, Interview cause you’ll see a new batch and maybe higher ups to impress. use DIBS’ excuse after this round. would it be possible and probable for you to leverage an offer from this fancypants firm to upgrade your gig at deathstar?
“CGar: Anyone else feeling hungover from work this week???”
Yes, seriously. Also, I’ll take next week off, the first three days I will be doing my other job: performing responsibilities as landed brownstone gentry. I’ll have a real vacation after Labor Day. Can’t wait.
“JB, those folks can kiss good bye to their homes or whatever they used the easy credit on. this country need to prioritize and more focused on job creation and F the protecting folks in their homes crap. if we have the $$$ and resources to do both, fine. but we dont, so let’s just focused on getting folks jobs.”
Duh!! But how we do we create jobs in a meaningful way!?!?! Nobody has the answer.
So if you actually took the new job (if it was offered) you’d be at the same firm as Mrs. C????
That entails more risk, no?

JB, that’s precisely the reason. when it’ll take a couple of tries to find what works, we dont have the time or $$$ to waste on homes
