  1. quote:
Either that or it’s the student loans that are causing you problems.

it’s probably not the federal loans.. it’s the private student loan i have.. over the years those a-holes reported me hundreds of times to the credit agencies or something.. that is probably it. but i am steadily paying them back these days.

i still think it’s stupid that an 18 year old with no job or income can get a credit card so easily and i cannot. they really should learn to give people second chances. this is why people turn to crime late in life sometimes! believe it or not, not everyone is a born criminal! now where the hell is my ski mask!?!?

  2. About to send out an email to all my contacts and clients letting them know today’s my last day (a lot of them already know). Woo-hoo!!!!!

Had a farewell party last night. I’m so hung over.

  3. *rob* — Also, if you keep applying and getting rejected, every new application makes it that much more likely that you’ll be rejected again. Frequent credit applications lower your credit score, because it looks like you must be desperate for access to credit.

  4. “Is it bad to decline going to the second round or should I go through the motions until the end? What to do??”

Decline!! You learned about the position and feel it’s not a good fit.

  5. JB, those folks can kiss good bye to their homes or whatever they used the easy credit on. this country need to prioritize and more focused on job creation and F the protecting folks in their homes crap. if we have the $$$ and resources to do both, fine. but we dont, so let’s just focused on getting folks jobs.

  6. Biff…one way to let them down nicely is to say that things have changed at your firm and you’ve decided that it would be best to stick it out given the new opportunity…whether that is true or not.
