  1. rf, evolution is a theory. Almost no theory in science is ever proven. And even if proven, there can always be new evidence, or another theory can be developed that fits the evidence as well as the first theory.
That is why science is not “the truth” and should not be taught as such.
Religeon on the other hand, teaches “the truth” based on faith, and doesn’t need to rely on evidence.
As for creationism, it is more a spiritual concept than a theory.
Of course religeon should be taught in religeous schools or at home.
However, science, which should be taught in all schools, should not be turned into a new religeon, which is basically what has happened. You can’t “believe” in science, or any scientific theory. It just isn’t about belief.

  2. RANT:
I HATE ACCESS-A-RIDE vans and drivers

#3 – why not take your lazy a$$ to a restauarant or a park to eat your lunch
    GIMME A BREAK!

  3. “Biff, Interview cause you’ll see a new batch and maybe higher ups to impress. use DIBS’ excuse after this round.”

“Was considering either going through the motions on the off chance they all like me and maybe consider me for something else if I say I changed my mind”

“unless you want to leave the door open to something else in the future at FFF. If it is really not a good fit, tell them what you are looking for and why this isn’t it (go to the high end of what you are looking for). That way, if the perfect job for you at FFF opens up, they might think of you.”

Biff, I agree with m4l, part of what you said, and part of what Slopey said.

  4. Agreed, rf.

I don’t mind if, in science, my daughter learns that some believe creation could not happen without divine intervention, referencing biblican and other creation myths and ID, but that these questions are not part of science, they are theological.

I’m all for science being taught as the rigorous application of a method. The method is as important as the content of what’s been learned so far.
