When I first moved to NYC, I went to The Angelika several nights a week. I absolutely love movies (excluding the big blockbuster films) and will definitely take note of some of the movies I haven’t seen above and make good use of Netflix.
Biff, I went through a phase of watching every Italian movie I could find — there was this great video place in BH on Henry Street (near where Henry’s End is) which is now closed….but they had the best int’l movies and I watched all the oldie neo-realist ones by Fellini, DeSica, Rossellini, Visconti. I love Martin Scorcese (earlier the better though) and he loved Italian film too and it shows. Scorcese became frozen in violent mob films though and I got sick of him.
Dona, I like French, Chinese and Italian movies a lot. I also like Japanese films but never got into some of the more surrealistic stuff (like Kurosawa). Did you?
DH, why do you think I’ve been listening to more hard rock & gangsta rap and suggesting CGar do the same to grow nuts (ie that it’s fertilizer for the nuts) – per 1st hand experiences on the shrinking and the growing of nuts

oh Biff, I am not that much of a Japanese movie fan. I like some of the old comedies like Toro-san…

Tampopo was a riot, Delepp.
M4L, yes, I do take notes on what you say. I also liked your lesson in logic on the bike thread. 🙂 (I just gave up.)
