CGar, I didn’t see Recount, but have seen a ton of political documentaries as well. Especially those involving 9/11 (and Iraq/Afghanistan), Vietnam and the Clinton and Bush administrations.
Loved The Bicycle Thief, Biff, and a lot of the American movies on your latest lists. As I said above, too many faves to name. Dead Poets I still love.
And I’m a total documentary junkie. I’ve seen most of the documentaries you’d listed — I love political documentaries/movies. Did you see Recount on HBO? I’m thinking know, but you’d like it — about the 2000 election in Florida.
At home, I’m always watching the History Channel and History International and the Military Channel — great Civil War, Revolutionary War, WWII documentaries, and all manner of Ken Burns. Recently there’s been a great new documentary series called “America: The Story of Us”.
DeLepp, can you make it to Montero’s tonight? My friend is dying to see you again.

snappy, that great news. dont forget to remind her about my slapping if I catch her lighting up.
Dave, that sounds right. The Baronet or Coronet.

I wouldn’t take it to heart, they probably didn’t meant the savante bit.
