only 4-5 states are NOT bankrupty/insolvent so that Cali town bankupt is no surprise. am curious to see what happens to those muni bonds in these bankruptcy filings?
Docks is on 40th and third. It’s not bad, very good seafood and sushi is pretty good too. I take clients to Capitol Grille on 42nd near third for steak, but it is expensive, an expense account type place (but nice steak).

it runs along broadway (before heading up myrtle to ridgewood and middle village) – lots of people live south of grand st who are closer to the JMZ, but would shlep up to the L since its an easier transfer to get to midtown. seems like this will help the transport issues in the area.
ditto – that’s pretty much the experience my friends have had with the M up in queens. hopefully they work the kinks out and it becomes as reliable as the V was (which isn’t sayin much)

A college friend from Philly is coming into town tomorrow. Anybody got any good restaurant recommendations for midtown? Doesn’t have to be midtown, but we’re meeting near Grand Central. Anything but Greek.
