  1. “how long do you think it would take to walk from park slope to soho? would it be more than an hour?”

rob, if you walk at my pace, which is highly unlikely, from your house to the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge in Manhattan is precisely 55 mins. Add about 4 mins for the Manhattan Bridge. Then you have to get to SoHo. Manhattan Bridge should be quicker but I’d try both. Should be another 10-15 mins.

Yeah, loss of that M train really hurts.

  2. M4L, I like the way you think. This occurred to me too but too many lawyersauditorsconsultantsannoyingpeoplefromparentcompany..

    around here. But where there’s a will there’s a way. I have an idea….

    tks.

  3. Oh and thank you very much Arkady for saying that. I know that is true and it is a good thing for him. I am trying to figure out when to visit him. He is near Wilmington Delaware and I was thinking of going down there this weekend to see him and it is the 4th of July weekend which means travel chaos. I am thinking of taking off Friday and seeing him that day. Do you think that is too close to the operation to be a nice thing for him? (I always wonder if when somebody is really hurting whether they are annoyed by having to be social when they feel awful).

  4. Did you all see this? Our lovely friend McKenzie struck again last night in the HOTD thread. She really has a way with words…

Most of the people who post here are such idiots. not only do they not know anything about real estate but very little about houses.
The residential avenues in Park Slope, PPW, Eighth, and Sixth are the finest streets in the neighborhood. They are where the most luxurious homes were built.
I am constantly amazed by the total cluelessness of the folks who post here. Including Dave who seems to be always selling his house on the corner of God-forsaken and Boondock.
