“Sure, Cgar I was a West Wing junkie..”
Then, surely, you know who Donatella Moss is??? She’s Josh Lyman’s assistant. And President Bartlett always pronounced her name in a great way, emphasis on “TEL”. So, mine is an homage.
“I will be professionally active, making money, doing sports and God willing, having a buzzing life when I am 90.”
Me, too, donaTELla. My grandfather ran a manufacturing company until he was 92, along with my great aunt, who sold the business when she was 90. He lived to 94, she lived to 99. And my grandmother lived to 95. (My parents, not so much.)
The 2,3 lines are medium crowded but my commute is only 10 minutes so it’s very tolerable. I used to walk to work, will do so again in the relatively near future.

Friday I was reading the WSJ outside at my local and went in to get a refill. The North Korean-Ivory coast game was being replayed. While I waited for my beer “CVR” went in and made a shot, and “PRK” defended. Then I noticed something that surprised me: the Korean goalkeeper and his defender teammate appeared to high five each other. As I watched for a little bit longer, the Koreans seemed to be having fun and being very sporting about the whole thing. they were quite fascinating to watch.

But I will still make old age jokes!

LOL. More like a Polar Bear at the equator.
“But, just non-PBR curious, whatever would make you say that???”
Just the fact you’ve complained before about how you sweat like a nun in a field of cucumbers.
At my age, any day that a cashier doesn’t ask for my AARP discount card, is a good day!
I never make old people jokes. I will be professionally active, making money, doing sports and God willing, having a buzzing life when I am 90.
“CGar, you might like Montrose’s story on air conditioning and ceiling fans.”
Thanks, Biff, I’m on it. But, just non-PBR curious, whatever would make you say that???
“I’m now even old enuf to live in Brooklyn Hts.”
If you choose to walk 100 minutes to save $2, I’m not sure you can afford BH!
🙂
