  1. I love your revisionist posts, Rob. It’s so great the way you stir up the sh*t, then sit back and enjoy the mess! And then you say — that’s not what I was saying! LOL!

    Perfect. And I call BS.

  2. lol i wasnt moaning about a bunch of disadvantaged hard working kids! i like to piss and moan and about 30 year old interns who work for free and buy 7 dollar frappucinos everyday, and i have ever right to! granted i dont work with people like that, but so many people i know do. and know what they spend half their day doing!? talking about going out the hamptons for the weekend blah blah blah, that’s just one example of an intern a friend of mine works with. oh yeah, and she takes a CAB to and from her internship and her apt everyday! there’s a gazillion women (and men actually) out there who would kill for the internship this girl has (it’s a good one at a well known fashion icon’s company), but people like her always wind up getting it. my friend is always complaining about these types.

    *rob*

  3. “i do wish i majored in something different”

I really wish I majored in something different. I did political science at a state university, which means I shat out a few papers each semester and sat in class listening to a bunch of profs who got out of vietnam to do drum circles and drop acid try to indoctrinate me.

If I could do it over again I would do hard science or engineering or math.

I can’t decide if I regret going to law school. I’m sick of having to be around other lawyers but I guess it’s an OK job. Actually I have a lot of fun doing it as long as I don’t take myself too seriously and don’t feel like I have to do things the way other people do them. I went through a stage where I took myself super duper seriously. That sucked.

  4. Rob, never too late to do the chase – especially when one doesn’t have a kids to worry about. I’m tired of corp gig so am aggressively trying to start / buy a biz with some partners. and I’ve a few years old than you and have a kid. but as long as you’re happy with current situation, that’s fine. if you’re not happy, dont sell yourself short cause it aint impossible to chase down something diff/better
