If Rob were to take a non-paying internship, how would he pay his bills?

Get another job and do both. That’s what I did, several times. Not everyone who wins an internship is an entitled trust-funder.
IJ – if no one was offended, that’s cool. I like your approach as well. Like Donatella, I believe standards should always be set high for everyone, regardless of background.
dipster quote is hysterical… however are there really landlords out there who dont let their tenants have access to the back yard? that’s just mean. it’s almost as mean as not letting single adults into the pier 6 water park!!
OK, I am looking for someone to share this tidbit with and here you are. I just heard about the brother of a friend of my daughter’s who is graduating from Murray Bergtram High School of Business (third-rate ghetto school in lower Manhattan) and is on his way to HARVARD! Second generation Chinese kid.
well for what it’s worth when i heard that she gave most her stipend to a charity, i assumed this was a rich intern, thus my mummy and daddy comment. it didnt even register to me these were disadvanted kids. tho sometimes i hate the term “disadvantaged”. cuz kids can essentially get free everything in this city! on the train i saw a notice up that people 18 and under can get free summer meals all summer! okay, sorry that was a tangent, and im in no way hating on poor kids getting free healthy meals, so dont go there. we have different kinds of brains, me and you cobble, the sooner you learn to accept that fact, the sooner my posts will stop ruffling your feathers.
Slope – totally kidding! I thought ENY was implying some stuff about Jester and then when you agreed with him, I jokingly put you in the same camp. Sorry! Great stuff in the AY thread earlier this week, btw.
Just came back from a Forest City / Ratner retirement lunch. Saw some of the biggies I’ve met thru the years. It was a pleasure to tell them that I and many of my neighbors in PS were pro-AY, in spite of what they might think.

Rob, I went this weekend. It’s not for anyone that isn’t a small child. Don’t bother to (try to) find it.

Denton;
Were there any interns there?
You best not answer that if you know what’s good for you!
