  1. “No, the burden of proof is on the guy making the statements. YOU go search craigslist, and get back to me.””

Brownstoner blocks some of my post and I could not post the results my searches on Craigslist Asshead!

“What doesn’t understand rules of logic, debate or civil discourse. This, I think we are all in agreement.

Dave you are really a retard….

“I went to a few open houses this weekend in our lovely Boro.
It was pretty grim. I chatted up a couple of realtor friends and nothing is moving. Not houses, not condos, not co-ops. They all were putting the best face on it, but with so many people afraid that they may be losing their jobs in the near future, there do not seem to be too many optimistic buyers ready to plunge into the frigid waters of NYC real estate right now. No one is even bidding. Let’s look forward to a spring thaw. Maybe, hopefully, it will come.”

    Taste the rainbow!!!!!!

    The What

Someday this war is gonna end..

  2. DIBS – Oh, sure. And if it wasn’t president’s day and there were other topics being posted, I wouldn’t even be engaging in the dicussion. I’m just bored. 🙂

Frankly, I don’t really care which borough costs more. I care which one I want to live in more, and there are at least five Brooklyn neighborhoods I’d prefer to anywhere in Manhattan.

  3. My my, at waterloo the Asshats did surrender
Oh yeah, and I have met my destiny in quite a similar way
The history book on the shelf
    Is always repeating itself

Waterloo – I was defeated, you won the war
Waterloo – promise to love you for ever more
Waterloo – couldnt escape if I wanted to
Waterloo – knowing my fate is to be with you
Waterloo – finally facing my waterloo

My my, I tried to hold you back but you were stronger
Oh yeah, and now it seems my only chance is giving up the fight
And how could I ever refuse
I feel like I win when I lose

Waterloo – I was defeated, you won the war
Waterloo – promise to love you for ever more
Waterloo – couldnt escape if I wanted to
Waterloo – knowing my fate is to be with you

  4. $1600 for a 1-bedroom in Manhattan isn’t bad. Many one-bedroom co-ops in brooklyn charge half of that in maintenance, of course the latter is partilly tax-deductible. But still…

  6. Or, ENY, nothing better to do today!!!!!

Anyone want to go for a drink??? I had the flu last week and haven’t had a drink since last Saturday!!!!

We can toast the mass exodus to Manhattan. i hear the Brooklyn bridge will be closed certain days so that the borough is not left completely void of renters.

  7. any landlords in here have the experience of being audited by the IRS? Reason I ask: my landlord called me on Friday asking for all this documentation (his company owns several properties around North Brooklyn) He asked me and my roommate to fill out a W9 form and to give additional income documentation. Sounds a little odd to me. Thoughts?
