re nurses, Mrs. D., who knows something about the healthcare biz, tells me that female nurses are the victims of abusive relationships more than average. Why? Mrs. D says according to the literature nurses go into the biz as caring people who want to help and cure. Unfortunately sometimes they are attracted to males with problems, which they also hope to cure. Doesn’t always work out well. Still, in my book that means they are better meaning people than most, not vile.
I agree with the person who spoke about giving nurses respect and getting it return. In my (fortunately) limited health care experiences to date, my experiences have been the same.
