Yeah, I do like Commonwealth a lot actually. Really chill.
Brooklyn Bowl is fun, but SO expensive!!
Went to Melody Lanes in Sunset Park for the first time recently…no Blue Ribbon but that place is FUN AS HELL! It’s like going back in time. A genuine, no frills mom and pop bowling alley.

I think it would probably be a good idea to let them know that this person is not great, BUT I also got the distinct impression that she may be personally friendly with one of the guys. For all I know she could be someone’s cousin/sister/wife. So…it was all rather delicate. Hence, the wicked hair-pulling. Otherwise, I’d just ditch her and not sweat it, and tell them what I REALLY think! LOL!
“Cobble still uses a dial phone??? Does she share a party line with that cheapskate, Pete???”-
at least with dial phones they always work year after year. Drop them, throw at spouse, whatever. Still work.
Not spending money replacing or recharging (or forgetting to recharge).
ok – I need a non-hip(as not noisy so partially deaf old folks can hear each other) restaurant in Williamsburg tonight….any suggestions?
Cobble – So the first note showed them you are courteous & proactive & not a procrastinator. The next one indicates that you’re savvy & professional – saving them embarrassment because they’ve done you a favor.
because this week has basically been one giant vat of suckitude i decided to treat myself to a fancy coffee drink at starbucks. ugh. NEVER again! it took literally 45 minutes there were so many people in front of me still waiting for their concoctions to be me made and the slow ass baristas were horrible, tho so many customers were being really mean to them 🙁 however gross, one of them had total meth mouth. she also kept slamming things down and slamming the fridge and making these unpleasant faces. what an unpleasant feeling. and the whole in-your-face greentard movement stuff inside their newly remodeled stores are so obnoxious. i almost walked out. grrr

Tiki “The Traitor” Barber is broke. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.

cobble, it may be worse. She may be sleeping with one of them; which typically would cloud all judgement.

Mission Dolores is great. Kinda like Union Pool with better beer sans coked out douchebags.
No, haven’t gone to The Rock Shop yet – or The Bell House either for that matter 🙁
Been hooked on Brooklyn Bowl lately.
Oh, was at the Commonwealth a little while back – good no frills bar with good beer.
