Arkady, let snappy know that if this emergency room visit was due to those death sticks, dont light up when I’m around cause I will slap her. Other than that, wish her well
so that fire that happened in PS slope yesterday, one of my coworkers lives in the building next door and sent me this info about the fire..
“Yeah, we’re fine. The building right next to us burnt out yesterday – the entire inside is gutted, but the building is still standing. They had to bust open our front and back doors to get access to the building next door. Some of the tenants are in the hospital and a cat died – we had to help them get the body out of the basement, but other than that, everybody is okay. Bunch of construction and cleaning crews here today dealing with the mess. Our apt. is covered with soot and smells like awful smoke.”
that sucks. who was the person here who was reporting it yesterday and lives near there? lechecal?
is there like any long season where some over-hyped sports contest isn’t going on….it is the whole month of soccer, or NCAA or world series, or superbowl or stanley cup or winter olympics or summer olympics….
does it ever occur to people all this hype is done for selling advertising? and there is no real significance of all this constant hoopla?
rob – That’s quite different from what Snappy said.

Me too, Arkady. I am having difficulty connecting with people in London “World Cup is on you know, Ma’am”. Jeez…first things first.
