benson, thanks. If you can email denton at speakeasy.net I could send it along. In this case I’m supplying the goods to Japan. I also can’t get it from him if he will accept the certificate on our letterhead, which would be easy, or if he needs it from the actual manufacturer, which may be difficult to impossible. And then they can make payment difficult.
Sorry, I don’t speak Japanese. However, I have a number of Japanese in my office. If you wish, have your customer send his request in writing, and I can have it translated for you.
I basically know what he is requesting, however. We often ask our customers for the same type of certificate. It states that our component will not be eventually used in an application that involves nuclear arms. Japan and the US have a non-nuclear proliferation treaty requiring such a document for sensitive components.
Benson, your post made a lot of sense and I agree with all of it.
“Medicine is still evolving along those lines, especially the science of mental health.”
I remember in University my Psych 101 prof (who was widely respected and loved) say that medicine is like a young teenager in terms of its advancement and psychology is still a child. This seemed odd when I first heard it years ago, but the older I get, the more this makes sense to me. We still understand so little about what makes us tick.
denton, I can help with any slavik or eastern european languages (brother-in-law speaks like 11 of them – dont ask!) but don’t know anyone who speaks Japanese :o(.
Rob is a ton happier than his posts imply. There’s the Rob one SEEs and the BUTTERFLY on the internet – internet one is the much gloomier persona but not 100% representative

Dear ExpertBaby, Your mommy really loves you and she didn’t mean that the way it sounded! LOL!
Ok, ok, I hear you!
Rob,
What about an animal rescue group? I’ve read that Sean Casey uses volunteers:
http://scarnyc.org/
It’s in Windsor Terrace/Kensington.
