“I saw a subway ad for Stuytown apartments and one-bedrooms start at $2,299. WTF, it’s essentially projects, right!!!!”
All depends on location but those apts are huge. My friend has a 850 sq foot one bedroom with windows in each room on 18th and first, his apt stabalized and he pays $1250 a month.

rob, why don’t you just move back to 135th & Bway if you don’t want to be subjected to upper class snobbery?
because i don’t want to be around violent hood rats either. you know there IS a such thing as a happy medium, right? oh wait, i forgot, we are now basically just a city of haves and have nots.
and for what it’s worth, i dont find park slope to be all that snobby to begin with. most of the snobbery in this city actually seems to come from people who live in the ghetto and then whine about all the “ammenities” they don’t have. (dave, i am totally NOT talking about you btw ahhaahah, but im sure you know the type i am talking about)

Rob, you should move to a middle class suburb with a quaint downtown area.
