Generally speaking we love our pediatrician. Baby momma is a non-practicing MD (works for CDC), and discussed this sit with her colleagues. Consensus was wait and see because we are still in the normal 5-to-7 day window for run of the mill toddler viruses. Temp has been responding to Motrin. Our rule of thumb is less invasive is best, as long as monitor, nothing is getting worse, etc, just go with the flow rather than over prescribe meds or treatment.
rf, I hope your daughter also feels better. It’s brutal to watch your child suffer. Champ #2 stayed home all week from school but seems to have improved a lot today.
BoHill, I should have mentioned that another reason I felt okay ignoring McKenzie was because you already did the dirty work and exposed her for what she is. It was crazy for her to imply people from other neighbourhoods were making all the nasty comments and were jealous of Brooklyn Heights, especially when many of the posters criticizing the HOTD, such as I, live there.
…
Thanks.
Egg zactly. I’ve walked LL scores of times in the last 11 years, and just bought a place around the corner. So pretty much all the criticism of the alley was coming from folks quite familiar with it.
FWIW (don’t want to post in that thread anymore), CB2 discussed the CVS truck issue in January, and its been considered they should reverse the traffic flow on LL.
My daughter is 14, which is very different from a baby! But the doc did seem to think it was nothing serious. My daughter, who as a very healthy kid has had very few opportunities for sickness self-pity, was being quite the drama queen and asked if she needed to have her tonsils. The doc laughed at her. But of course I’m glad I kept her home from school for another day and took her to the doctor. She’s completely better now; her only symptom when we went to the doctor last Thursday was the sore throat, and that went away after 24 hours of antibiotics.
I think they really go by the book at Pediatric Associates, where we go (not very often!).
Just that you met…no “story” – I tpyed that out wrong.
ij, which story? brownstoner drink fests?

Oh well, sure it will all be fine a few days.
biffers – You could score the 79th post if I hadn’t just taken it.
DeLepp, if you’re there, that co-worker of mine you met mentioned the story to me last night.

where’s my “stuck up prick” today?
BoerumHill,

I’ve never scored in the 79th minute!
