  1. Actually, I would like that on vanilla ice cream. it’s a bit too sweet for a pie but I make apple rhubarb. I should make one this weekend.

    Or strawberry rhubarb shortcake.

  2. I bet if Lord browne were still running BP he would never have let this sort of thing happen.

It’s too bad he had to resign over that lie about his relationship with that trashy Canadian hustler.

  3. Fig tree is along the wall on the left as you look into the yard, just beyond that lattice work that hides the AC window box.

Lettuce is up, tomatoes are doing well and there are a ton of red currants. Already picked rhubarb 3X.

  4. Dave, I don’t think so. Does she have a partner? And where is the fig tree? Close to the house? I didn’t see it in the pics. I like the way you have the bed for veggies — fits right in with the garden design. I was never sure what to do about that, so I just planted veggies in containers.

donatella, had you invited me to live with you, I could’ve done all that. That’s how I spend 10 years in my garden. Self-taught. Trial and error. The thing I miss most about my house, and the main thing that has me looking at houses again. Well, that, and not having to wonder if I have enough closet / storage space.

  5. the Poison Ivy movies are much better than Lolita. they are essentially about the same thing. Poison Ivy 1 with drew barrymore was the best one, the second one with alyssa milano was kinda blah but she was smokin hot in it, and the rest of the poison ivy movies were essentially just soft core porns with no name actors/actresses, but might be worth watching for a wank or two i guess.
