Puleease. It’s not socialism, it’s fairness. The money ‘given’ to a CEO is not in any imagination ‘earned’ by him. It’s given by a complaisant board and is subject to no controls whatsoever. I’d say we have ‘socialism’ for the rich,
the president of the US makes what? 350k? either way, it’s peanuts relative to the shit the comes with the gig. but people know the salary difference in advance and chose what he/she chose to do career-wise. so anyone who wants to make CEO $$$, banker $$$,… go try to get the gig. if one choses to go for a low or lower paying gig, one cant be hating on someone who chose to go for a high or higher paying gig
It just disheartens me that teachers make at most $75K a year after years of working and some CEO makes millions upon millions – both jobs are important
“How many people here have had a two week vacation in the past 10 years? [Time off between jobs doesn’t count.] I mean a real two week vacation where you were ‘off duty’?”

“I take 2 weeks and go to P-Town but I’m on my Bloomberg every morning.”
DIBS, I didn’t think you dated Jewish guys.

1.5 wks is as long as a vacation I ever took – even for the birth of my mini-me.
“Can’t be “off duty” in most jobs. ”
That’s my point.
