g10, there’s a big diff btwn someone giving you an appreciative/confirming stare that you’re top choice eye candy vs. someone trying to make a play on you.
M4L, you are so right about that! I don’t experience the “Man Minefield” kind of thing now that I am older, but if a nice guy gives me a broad smile (ala the kind M4L describes) it makes my day.

then all I ever get is the dude wanting to make a play
never someone smiling like – well done you!

CH: true – am thinking in 10 years I wont be top choice anymore -haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
There’s a special needs young man who works here, we always talk sports. I went into the staffroom, he was there, began asking me about the NHL. We have the same name.
him: How you doing Jester! Did you watch the Flyers-Canadiens game?
me: Fine, Jester. No, I had stuff to do. I hope the Flyers win though.
him: Yeah! Flyers used to be the Broad Street Bullies! They were dirty motherfuckers!
me: They certainly were.

Pete, nothing fancy. Unless I’m meeting up with some friends for lunch, I usually grab something quick so I can walk around for the exercise, do some quick errands, and be on look-out for eye candy.
best thing about getting to that age, is I can stare at the hot ones all I want and am so invisible to them they don’t notice. And if they do, just think am strange old person, They couldn’t eeven fathom that lusting for them or all the things that go thru my mind.
