Please note the HUGE difference. I “reached back” to the Christian missionaries as an illustration of the *technique* being employed by the Taliban and Al Qaeda. Food and protection for obedience.

In contrast, Legion is “reaching back” to the Ottoman Empire and the conquering of the Eastern Mediterranean to provide *evidence* of why no Muslims should be trusted.

  2. I have an issue with the whole notion of moral clarity when it comes to 9/11. If it isn’t obvious to everybody now it should be—the causes of 9/11 and in fact the causes of religious radicalization of all sorts are neither easy to pinpoint nor things that should be looked at as political scoring opportunities.

  3. NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — The number of troubled homeowners falling out of President Obama’s foreclosure rescue plan soared in April.

More than 122,000 borrowers had their trial mortgage modifications canceled in April, bringing the total to 277,640 since the program began about a year ago, according to federal statistics released Monday. Meanwhile, only about 68,000 homeowners were converted from these trials to permanent modifications.

I’m talking about the QUANTITY of “radicalized Islamists” that Legion claims are hellbent to destroy us. Yes, the ones that we ACTUALLY have to worry about are the middle-class and wealthy ones that we’ve seen do the bombings. These are the small networks that are actually a threat to us.

The other 11,999,500 “radicalized islamists” are just going along with the game because they live in horrible conditions. Does Death to America and firing some mortars get me supper this week? Do I run my shop according to the rules of the Taliban and openly support them? Or do I risk my family being murdered? And are there true converts to the dark side? Of course! The game becomes reality.

  5. lol,
and while we’re all busy debating my intelligence
    (or lack thereof)
let me say this in my defense,
If I wasn’t smart, I wouldn’t have gotten to date my English (woman) professor in college. 😉

    …yeah, I got an A.

“w/d in your home is pretty much the defining moment you become an adult.

    I’m guessing no for DH.”

    ????

Just tweaking ya. Biff @ 11:51 is correct – you’ve now moved into very eligible territory. Single guy with dw AND w/d just screams ‘I’m ready to nest!’

Sounds like a nice place. We’re still pruning our hands and sending out to fluff and fold, but the place we are buying will have both.
