Oh, thanks CGar. Very cool. Would be great to have another entranceway to the BB park somewhere between Joralemon and Fulton Street Landing. And sprucking up Squib Park is great too. It was an eyesore.
Btw, speaking of eyesores, does anyone know what will happen to that gutted, decrepit building by Pier 1? Seems if it was coming down, they would have done it by now. I was hoping it would come down and open up the view even more from the Promenade.
I myself like the whonk-whonk-whonk of police helicopters in the morning so that I know NYPD is on the job. There is something so comforting about 4 whirlies hanging around overhead while you slather butter on toast.
Biff, there’s a thread up about Squibb Park. Renovations look nice and will apparently be playable this summer. Bridge to BBP is still planned (I thought it had been canceled) but not yet funded — I think I’ll earmark my donation to the park just for the bridge, since there has to be a way to get into the park from near the promenade, rather than just from Fulton and Atlantic.
“I was once out strolling one very hot summer’s day
When I thought I’d lay myself down to rest
In a big field of tall grass
I laid there in the sun and felt it carressing my face
As I fell asleep and dreamed
I dreamed I was in a hollywood movie
And that I was the star of the movie
This really blew my mind
The fact that me an overfed long haired leaping gnome
Should be the star of a hollywood movie, hmmm”
I had wierd dream the other night. I was walking in some field and suddenly cossacks are chasing me on horseback and I run into woods and watch execution of czar nicolas and later on I end up in karaoke bar where this tall guy and sort guy are singing tunes from Fiddler on the Roof really off key and that woke me up. Musta been something I ate.

Of course I would need to go out and buy a toaster…
Mmmmm…haven’t had toast and butter in a long time. Sounds good. And a cup of hot tea with honey. Yum.

“The phlebotomist will work on your phlebs.”
I always get nervous when I see someone surfing the phleb.

This is an outrage!
