lechacal,
let’s take these one by one.
Bearing in mind that you recently made a statement that it was pointless to attempt to discuss the merits of a case against someone without being privy to the details.
Granted.
What I am doing here, however, is making a judgement in the court of public opinion, which for all intents and purposes is even more damning than a court of law.
How many threats have there been?
Of course I wouldn’t know, but we do know that there were at least these three which were mishandled. Bush never credit for the many threats that he managed to handle effectively, such as the For Dix 6 and the London Plotters. Or should I say Security Chief Ridge.
How many have been stopped (ditto)?
Again, haven’t heard of others besides the three discussed
(on the homeland specifically).
I have to assume the same level of leakage through both administrations, however.
These things have a way of leaking, especially by partisans on either side.
regarding the net number of attempts,
I will look that up.
My hunch is that Al Queda, being severly wounded over the past 8 years has not been able to restore its operational capacity to pre-9/11 levels.
It would seem that we are comparing apples and oranges you see. these positions are a direct reflection of the management. She may be an effective leader, but her failure has been in implementing effective strategies to root out and stop terrorists in their tracks. As a routine.
We do have comparisons to make, for instance Israel.
My point is that, leaders at this level are not only responsible for effectively managing their position and those they are in charge of,
they also must demonstrate the ability to communicate a competence to the general public.
Something she has clearly failed to do.
“UGH! why is it that every single person who works at the strand book store is a major league A-hole!? is it like a prerequisite to be able to work there? jeez. ”
All NYU English majors, who, will shortly be dazzling us with their new novel. What do you expect? Some hotties there tho…

“Next few weeks may be tricky, no Fridays open.”
What do you expect from a person of the Jewish persuasion.
kens- I was going to say, isn’t that why we like rob? 😉
Personally I prefer the Belorussian and Lithuanian parts of Brooklyn. Or the Mongol Quarter.
wow Donatella. Is that some kind of a back door way offering you the position?
donatella- wow! The really creeped me out
And it was those 2 factors (no reservation, cash, ) that raised the red flags, legion.
lol, Rob is kinda correct. Have you seen Russians trying to make a spin-off of Jersey Shore reality that I posted?
