Usuallly with a 1099 there are no contributions.
BTW – Corporate tax deadline is March 15th.
I once again will file for an extension. I hate this time of year. I cry, I scream, I yell, I throw darts at a poster of Uncle Sam.
I don’t mean to interrupt the flow here on premature ejaculation (ba dum bum ding!), but I’ve got a serious question for any tax gurus in the peanut gallery.
A friend worked several jobs last year, one of them was a 1099 situation. He got all his W2s but did not yet receive the 1099 despite the deadline having passed and is having trouble getting it. Can he file without it and amend later? Should he just wait? How long should he wait?

I apologize for that Biff. I don’t know where that came from!
I would love to watch ___________ tonight with a nice mug of ____________ .
“Buttweiser, King of Rears” “Trader Joe’s Two Buck Chuck”
Thanks DIBS. I’ll tell him.

The FICA comment was meant to say that he should wait to figure that out.
Snappy…I think 1099 deadlines were expanded to Feb 15. I know they were for dividend & income 1099s, not sure if wages are different.
He may have over contributed to FICA as so often happens when you have 2 different employers.
He can wait until April 15 to file.
“Biff, we get it! You like the movie. Would you like me to burn you a copy?”
Could you please? I would love to watch it tonight with a nice mug of Blue Nun and a TV dinner.
