  1. quote:
    Do pimps still exist?
    Seems like with the internet, there’d be no need for them.

    they DO exist, and it’s sad to say they mostly deal with very VERY young girls these days, im talking like 11,12,13. 🙁 i have no problem with pimp / ho relationships for adults, but i find it problematic when it’s with underage girls.

  2. “AFTER they have been stopped for a legal infraction,
    as opposed to the previous routine of not being able to ask if a person was a citizen of this nation.”

    Have you heard of Loitering or other minor infractions, legion? These ‘trained professionals’ you speak of are not above bending the rules to suit their BIAS, or to up their quotas, etc.

  3. dibs,

    I hear what you are saying;
    that people will be stopped randomly on the streets.
    The Governor herself has stated that this is not the
    law as written,
    the law’s intent is to allow the police officer to make a determination of a persons citizenship status after they have been stopped for a legal infraction.

    AFTER they have been stopped for a legal infraction,
    as opposed to the previous routine of not being able to ask if a person was a citizen of this nation.

  4. “We, as a country and society, provide certain services, programs, and funding for those who need it.”

    Question is what is the scope of the programs that the government should run and what is best left to people to take care of themselves.
    Also, the executive branch is not ‘we’, in my opinion. Likewise, I would not conflate the concepts of ‘country’ and ‘society’ like that.
