cobble,
yes, my aunt lives in California,
my sister lives in Arizona.
ENY,
a typical stop would be like any other
except in the case of a person in this nation
illegally, there would be the additional
complexity of deportation to their country of origin.
Sorry, but you will not convince me that it is OK
to have this nation without a legitimate immigration policy.
and Mexico does not get a de facto pass,
they need to address the problems of poverty and education and medicine in Mexico. Mexico is not a poor nation.
They have simply gotten used to the idea that they can export their poverty problem to the US,
meanwhile we have gotten used to the idea of exploitation of Mexican labor.
let both countries prosper,
one with a good and regulated labor force here on work visas,
Mexico with a realistic effort to address hundreds of years of neglect for their poor.
This is a little late. But I gave this to Biff, Perdida.
Insall Scott Kelly Institute in Manhattan. I had a serious accident to my foot (crushed toe). I had a lovely emergy hospital stay and surgery in London, but all follow up was here with this group. (Scott is a knee doctor and he has ortho specialists for every part of the body. He is the knee surgeon for the Knicks).
Hey Legion – now that you have described the typical cop-pulls-over-speeder encounter, please describe the typical cop-apprehends-illegal-immigrant encounter – not one in which the illegal immigrant obviously crosses the Rio Grande, but an encounter on a street in downtown Phoenix. How exactly would that go down?

“CGar, we already established earlier today that I have no decency. Please keep up.”
Keep up? I always thought you were indecent. You mean to tell me there are people here just figuring that out?

“Yo Mama’s Last Supper”
OMG! That is awesome.
How the heck did you find that?
But you don’t get the ‘brilliant’ label as it’s not a joke you made.

Damn, my cut and paste posts in the HOTD are coming out Legion-style.
“There’d” is utterly kosher & not a venial sin.
“Yo Mama’s Last Supper”
You’re doing “Last Supper” jokes, now? Have you not gotten in enough trouble today already? Great way to piss off both the Jews AND the Christians!
😉
