Perhaps Brownstoner limits its coverage of crime stories to Brownstone Brooklyn while willing to go out further only in the case of housing and architectue related issues?
do we know if these Williamsburg Hipster Ninja Anarchists were homeschooled or if they went to religious school? 😉
Legion, I think they went to Dalton.
About Corrine Rossi…..THAT is interesting. That was when I went to summer day camp at the local PUBLIC school! That was when I realized that I actually felt SAFE (sort of) with the hitter sisters at Catholic school because at least you knew who could GET you and roughly WHY. Not like Corinne Rossi, whose act would have been seriously shut down.
I think ROTW is arguing that Mr. B elected not to pick up on the story because it doesn’t have a race/class warfare angle (i.e., he would have run the story of the vandals were African American). Forget that some others might argue the story does have a class warfare angle, just a different one than the one ROTW accuses Mr. B of having. I have to agree with DH, though, the Williamsburg ninja vandal story does not seem to have lit up the blogosphere, but seems to follow, rather weakly, the trajectory DH mapped out. The few other mentions of the story link back to the FW original. We’ll see if Mr. B feels what’s heat and puts the story up.
“Jackal, college didn’t require a high school transcript with application? did you take SATs?”
They asked for a high school transcript. I said I didn’t go to high school. So they made me write a bunch of essays explaining what I had been doing for the past 3 1/2 years. That plus SATs (which I did take) and they were willing to overlook the little hole in my application.
good thing your parents didn’t give up and send you on a plane to russia.

HAHAHAHA…..:)
“The What,
are you suggesting that Mr.B is consciously excluding stories that do not have the added benefit of a class warfare angle?”

The What
Someday this war is gonna end..
Maybe it’ll be the closing bell story.
I too wonder why Brownstoner did not post the Williamsburg story. Not making accusations, but I am curious.

Interesting! So what happens if a little jackal says he doesn’t want to go to high school?
