When I say I agreed with What on this it was the general idea that if the Williamsburg vandals had been black teens the story would have gotten more (and more hysterical) coverage. I find this to be likely true.

don’t worry lech, i am sure you were never a genius, so nothing lost there. not being challenged by school or your peers, and questioning authority, is pretty common for a lot of kids. joining the circus is pretty unique.
