Didn’t the recent events in Crown Heights and Clinton Hill involve acts of violence against people and not just property? (Still think Mr. B didn’t know about it – and even if he did, the story would be a chance to make fun of hipsters, not fear them).

OK. I concur in wondering why it’s not a thread. God knows we have to endure endless Williamsburg condos, bars and restaurants, and all for the benefit of one PLUSA I might add, so this story should have been (be) covered. Similar stories have been covered in other neighborhoods.
