Yes, yes, I understand that Unions have issues. My sibling used to be in a well-known piss poor union, and I’m pretty well educated on unions generally, thank you all.
Now, please lower your weapons, and go find someone else to aim them at! Thank you!
It was not a light-hearted observation -stop with your bullshit. It was an attempt to discredit someone’s argument by using class resentment. Be honest about what you were trying to do. I’d have more respect for you if you were honest about what you were trying to do.
The only thing remaining is to say to you once again: kiss my arse.
About this “sauce”, it is pretty low in calories – the horseradish is nothing and the yogurt, well, use no fat or low fat and just enough, so its not bad. I love the taste with salmon.
that NYPost article is very short – in length and detail and history. Sounds totally out-of-context. Who is this guy with a garage on westside and why is NYPost interested in generating him more business. What does he charge…what other issues are involved? Why is that way? how would I know….Contracts were negotiated, there was give and take, over many contracts and many years. The MTA is not known for treating bus drivers very well and am sure not a job you’d be interested in even if paid what you are making. Certainly many work rules seem outdated — and end of contract can be changed.
But would you like to review contract from military contractors, payouts to agri-business, etc, etc etc?
Why is it that when a working person makes a decent living you get so irate? You come in with rants? Why do I not hear it with all these recent revelations of Lehman, BearStearns, or GoldmanSachs helping Greece hide debt?
Is it because you only read NYPost and listen to Foxnews?
The most hostile slanted so-called newsmedia run by some rightwing sensationalist mogul?
It is this anti-labor, workingman attitude in this country that contributes to hostility rather than trying to form a partnership for better companies, better run municipalities, and a better country. The sense of entitlement and fleecing and arrogance is top-down–from the corporate elite, management, etc. Their attitude is: the more I less I pay the real workers the more I can keep for myself.
I really wish that the ingrained elitist attitude of those at the top would change but only see it getting worse.
M4L, I gave up on cgar. I am waiting for chicken to move back to US and he’ll be my sparring partner.
Eventhough I saw Cgar jetting from Rob one day and the kid can run, let me tell ya. I was pleasantly surprised.
benson, benson, benson. Sigh.

Cobble, I have venom and I make LESS than my union super. You don’t see me going on strike do you?
My mom is a union employee who makes peanuts and she HATES unions.
