This is the societal group from whence I came. Why did I and many others like me leave? Well, just take a look at the characterization of the tea-partiers above, including your own. Advising folks that they are latent racists, and ignoramuses who don’t know where their true interests lie is not a winning formula.
As a person in sales, I am astounded at how folks think these arguments will win the day. I’ve never made a sale by putting down my competitor. I win the day
by convincing them of the merits of my product, or argument, as the case may be.
