I don’t think anyone hear is admitting to themselves how many unwanted flyers are actually left around.
In Park Slope and Brooklyn Heights it’s a constant. I don’t want four menus from a sushi place on 15th St. when I live on Bergen St. and have two within baseball throwing distance.
I don’t want to order ironwork just because I have a cast iron fence, either.
Or, the look on the face of the man leaving shit on my doorstep at 7 am when I happened to come out and catch him redhanded will tell you they know they’re being a nuisance. getting rid of nuisances is what community action does.
i have the same problem DH, I have so many automatic payments set up, and autp transfers, and deposits, it would be such a hassle to switch, and they know, but i should switch to a coop or credit union or something
Yes, M4L, I found that out the hard way, recently, when my high minimum balance fell below that amount, and I got slapped with almost $20 in fees. I hadn’t seen a fee on that account in I cannot tell you how long. I’m not sure I ever knew I had a minimum balance, or it had been so long I forgot.
I don’t have to think, this is Brownstoner.
Jester, I don’t think you can award yourself QOTD.

Therefore, I support.

with these fees and the peanut interest, one incident and it’ll take one 4ever to recoup the fee via interest
I think they might have told me back when I got Direct Deposit at my last job.
Gotta assume the banks tell us this stuff but we don’t bother to read the mail they send.
I think with a Citi card, one can use the ATM card at Chase branches in the city up to three times a month and get the fee automatically waived.
