  1. “He never ran a business or any profitable concern. Problems will continue.”

Bush ran the Texas Rangers, a failure on every level. How did that work out for the country?

“a family of four making as much as $50,000 will owe no federal income tax for 2009, as long as there are two children younger than 17,”

What’s wrong with that? That’s not lot of money for a family of four with two kids under 17.

  2. hahahahah mentholated poo mist? gack. i guess it’s better than regular poo mist.

it’s a long shot, but does anyone collect/keep/hoarde spare AC adators for laptops? my african childrens computer that ive been using for like a year and a half finally kicked the bucket last night so i cant go on the internet at home 🙁 but i have this old toshiba laptop an old roommate gave me. the problem is i dont have an ac plug for it, the original one was broken.. it used to work tho. i went to best buy a while back and bought a universal laptop adaptor, but it will only charge up the battery, and not run the computer (the batter sucks and only gets like 15 minutes of computer time).. it cost like 100 bux and i didnt realize til months and months later that it’s just not powerful enought to keep the computer on.

or does anyone know where i can find a similar cord? like an old used pc shop or smoething?

  3. Lechacal,

you may have stumbled (or shat) upon a whole vast unexplored market in scented poo products.

…I’m envisioning a marketing campaign like this:

Liz Taylor in faded background with dramatic music,

voice over: “you’ve tried my White Diamonds, now try
    my MenthePoo…”

fade out on a pastoral visage with trees swaying.

  4. dibs,

    totally agree,

I learned that lesson working at Pizza Hut many years ago,
I was used to working about 15 hours a week.
Well, there was one of those holiday weekends coming up and the manager offered me extra hours.
    I jumped at the chance.

…then I got my paycheck and realized that I worked twice as much but they took out about 4 times as much in SSI,State,Medicare,Medicaid,TARP,unemployment,
underemployment, overemployment, excise, exercise, etc. etc.

I stuck to my meager hours from then on and had more time for cheap beer.
