  1. Rob,
open floorplans for seniors could translate into fewer physical barriers. Important for those that have difficulty moving about or use wheelchairs.
Another factor is that open floor plans = more usable square footage. Especially worthwhile in small apts.

rob, do you have all your paperwork and all the forms assembled??? I’m not sure if the party is still on because it seems that the weather will be too crappy to be outside, but I will still do your taxes.

boo! why is the party off for a little rain? dont you own one of those big table umbrellas?! i think they sell them at home depot and stuff. and what paperwork do i need btw? my w2? i have that.

  3. ET, i am most certainly NOT making that up. if you look at a lot of senior citizen buildings made from as far back as the 1970s, you will even see the open floor plan! the reason is because sometimes senior citizens would get confused and wind up in the wrong room! have you never seen those commercials with the little old lady fast asleep next to the toilet? or the man who fell asleep in the sink!? there’s a whole lot of social reasons why rooms are the way they are that have nothing to do with modern day aesthetics.

I’m still assuming you are joking about the palms though.
