Why does that piss you off, Legion? They caught the guy, didn’t they? You’re not going to PREVENT crime and it’s not the government’s fault that some guy wants to take a chance and game the system. It WOULD be the government’s fault if they didn’t catch the guy or at least try to.
There’s a scene in “The Maltese Falcon” where Humphrey Bogart (whose character is a private detective) and two cops share a drink. Bogart offers a toast by saying “Success to crime.”
