Tyburg, the Ozarks are actually quite beautiful. Very similar to the Berkshires. I really can’t stand it when people from the Northeast snob bash other parts of the country. New York undoubtedly has more intellectual capital than certain other parts of the country, but in my experience it is those who merely bask under the halo of great thinkers, and not the great thinkers themselves, who feel the need to put down those who aren’t fortunate enough to claim greatness by proximity.
lechacal – that’s silly. 🙂 What do you think of the Ozarks? My sister lives out there… I just can’t wrap my head around why anyone would want to live in that part of the country. Terrible climate, tornadoes, not the most pleasant of people…
