It’d be cheaper to move someplace where the neighbors aren’t so nosy.
I wonder if those fines can be negotiated downward. $13k for a first offense is INSANE. But maybe the purpose behind such a high fine for a first offense is to ensure that there won’t be a second offense.

Snappy — I serve no purpose if not to (a) provide humor sometimes, and (b) be an asshole the rest of the time. I’m glad I could provide the former this morning.
Some friends of ours told us that someone in their building (new development) got busted for propane grilling on their balcony. Someone in their building called 911 to report them. The NYFD showed up and gave them a $13,000 fine.
Expert Textpert I can’t tolerate the fumes from any of the oven cleaners either, so I tried that Dawn pretreating spray and it really worked on my oven. Initially I bought 2 bottles and saturated the oven, but now I just use about a half a bottle. Try it, it works!
BHO…did you look at the graph I posted??? It’s not the kind of bottom I’m interested in but it sure looks like a bottom anyway!!!!!
