how about colonial williamsburg (tho honestly that place looks boring as all hell).. who was it here that said they used to work as a serving wench there?!
if anyone is near a ben & jerry’s today they are giving away free ice cream all day, and starbucks is giving away free pastries until 1030 am this morning. the starbucks giveaway is slightly lame cuz you have to buy a specialty drink to get the free pastry, so probably not worth the trip.
As much as I like the architecture and all, Williamsburg is very boring.

Boston has some great stuff as well. And the ride on amtrak along the water is lovely.

Thanks cobble…DC is sounding good as it’s easy haul on Amtrak (they have kids 1/2 off so it’s lilke $12.50 each way)
