I hear ya m4l, but we’re seeing consistent 10% cuts in CH/BH before they go into contract, and then a month or two later you learn the deal was 15-20% off the original ask.
If we (royal usage) were more flexible on school options, would love to expand the search to include FG or PS.
Hilariously titled new cookbook: “Gourmet Meals in Crappy Little Kitchens.” See shot of aforementioned crappy kitchen — see, you don’t need granite countertops! Guess where she lives? Can you imagine? Brooklyn!
I wonder if I should buy it. She seems to have a lot of recipes for one-pot easy fast braised meals using cheap cuts of meat such as ribs, rabbit, and lamb shank, which is exactly what I’ve been trying to find and make.
BH, there are no cheap prices absolute or relative basis etc. when one hunts in Cobble Hill or BK heights. I know cause when my wife insisted on moving her sights from Clinton Hill / Ft Greene then to Park Slope and now to Cobble Hill / BK Heights, I gave up looking and told her “we’ll need to hit the lottery if we’re to get a decent house in those 2 hoods”
“Maybe, you, baby momma and the PLUSA munchkin should apt. shop together, since you’re both looking for 2-bedrooms.”
Watch it, Bay Ridge Bimbo!! I may be busy, but I AM paying attention. And you’re hardly one to talk about height, though I realize in your business height doesn’t really matter since you’re always lying down.
mopar that book looks fabulous!! I love those kinds of foods too.
I’ve made some of my best meals in crappy rental kitchens with ovens that had a broken burners and didn’t heat to the right temps.
Fancy does not equal tasty
LOL @ CGar, thx

“OK, I keep seeing PLUSA references all week…translation, please.”
Cobble must be passed out in the OT Office because this is HER job.
PLUSA = Pathetic Loser Usual Suspect Asshat
If someone else could fill BoerumHill on the origin, I’d be grateful.
